James River Irrigation is one of the few irrigation companies that has a dedicated Service Department. The only way to provide a client with quality customer service is to have people on hand whose job is to concentrate solely on service. The end result is a technician who becomes familiar with your property, and is able to provide suggestions and recommendations should you have any questions.

All of our service technicians are equipped with timesaving remote control devices. With the ability to remotely activate irrigation zones, they are able to spend more time inspecting your property and making necessary repairs and less time walking back and forth to the irrigation controller. We can install a permanent connection for these remotes on any irrigation controller for a nominal fee.

We ensure our service technicians are the best at what they do. They receive continuing education through factory-sponsored training in areas such as proper head/nozzle selection for specific applications, electrical troubleshooting and repair, proper pipe repair techniques and irrigation design. This knowledge provides them with the tools necessary to make repairs to your system the correct way, in the most efficient manner possible.

Our office is also designed with the customer in mind. We have the ability to reach our service technicians by radio and an alpha-numeric paging system. This allows us to dispatch a technician quickly, should an emergency situation require it. We also have technicians on 24-hour emergency call. Should you require emergency service after hours or on a weekend, simply call our office. Enter the "emergencies" portion of the voice-mail system and leave a message including your name, address, and a phone number where you can be reached. The on-call technician will return your call and either assist you over the phone or make a service visit.
